Center Kham Overland Trip

My wife and I have just completed a 12-day tour of the Central Kham region of Tibet, in western Sichuan province of China, travelling between 11-23 June, 2018, with Tsebho Ritsang as our guide. We have known Tsebho for a long time and finally had the chance to travel with him through this wonderful region. Tsebho was both our guide and driver on a custom tour of the culture, landscapes and flora of the region. Tsebho speaks excellent English and has a thorough knowledge of the Tibetan and Buddhist cultures of this area; the geography and landscape; as well as the flora and fauna, having worked on specialised botanical tours of the region on numerous occasions. He is an excellent and very safe driver, and has a wide network of contacts for helping organise travel and accommodation. I cannot recommend Tsebho enough, his friendly and knowledgeable demeanour is ideal, and his experience throughout Yunnan, Sichuan, Gansu and Qinghai make him a most suitable and excellent guide for any travel in these areas. Our journey combined driving through the region with guided walks and monastery visits. Tsebho is also very experienced with high altitude walking and camping in the mountains for those wanting a more adventurous angle to their travel
